On 15th March, 2023 we held our first Future Planning for People with Disability workshop at the Hornsby RSL Club. This is an event that we are very passionate about, hearing from so many people with disability and their families who are at a loss on how to begin the difficult process of wills and estate planning.

We were happy to be able to facilitate a workshop that provided a space for learning and an increased understanding of this difficult process. Our special guest speakers, Senior Lawyers, Stephen Booth from Coleman Greig and Nicole Lojszczyk from Gilbert & Tobin gave detailed, guided and professional information on how to plan for the future or for the future of a loved one.

We would like to offer a huge thanks to our sponsor Ku-ring-gai Council for recognizing the need for this informative workshop in their area. We offer a special thanks to Stephen Booth and Nicole Lojszczyk for imparting their knowledge and expertise in a digestible and compassionate way.

We’d also like to thank Hornsby RSL for hosting our event.

We are especially proud of our own advocates Susan Parker and Peta Barry for speaking to their own experience of future planning for a loved one with a disability.

Planning for the future you want for yourself or your loved one is in your hands. We are here to help!
