ACTION’s team is made up of people with lived experience of disability and professionals who provide direct support to people with disability. With a combined experience of over 20 years, our team prides itself on a rights-driven, person-centred approach that places individuals at the heart of everything we do.
We are deeply passionate about creating positive change in the lives of people with disability and working to break down the barriers that limit access, inclusion, and opportunity. Our commitment extends beyond direct support, with team members actively contributing their expertise and lived experience through advisory and leadership roles.
Our team sits on advisory committees and working groups including the Access and Ageing Advisory Committee for Lane Cove Council and the Status of Women Advisory Committee for Ku-ring-gai Council. We are also active members of key networks such as the Northern Sydney Disability Network, the Northern Beaches Disability Network, and the Intake Community of Practice Interagency Group.
Through collaboration, advocacy, and meaningful engagement, ACTION’s team works to drive community change while supporting individuals to exercise their rights and achieve their goals.
